Exclusively purchase a one-time ‘+20’ bonus for a chosen dice roll and increase your odds of success. Pre-selected to apply to a specific, chosen skillset, Eyr’s Epic Dice Bonus perk is an opportunity to throw some real weight behind a skill in your character’s arsenal to help tip the odds in their favor when it matters most.

When purchasing a special, official one time use power dice bonus, you’re choosing to add +20 to your roll in one of the following skills:

  • Combat - Defense (to include block, dodge, evade, shield-skills)
  • Combat - Brawling (to include hand to hand combat, wrestling, martial arts)
  • Combat - Melee Weapon (to include blades, hammers, clubs, frying pans and all other non-ranged wieldable weapons)
  • Combat - Ranged Weapon (to include bows, throwing daggers, spears, bolas, darts, nets, bottles and all other ranged weapons)
  • Magic - Abjuration (spells that protect, block, or banish)
  • Magic - Conjuration (spells that bring creatures or materials to the caster, e.g. summoning)
  • Magic - Divination (spells that reveal information, e.g. scrying)
  • Magic - Enchantment (spells that affect the minds of others)
  • Magic - Evocation (spells that manipulate energy or create something from thin air)
  • Magic - Illusion (spells that alter perception or create false images, e.g. glamor)
  • Magic - Necromancy (spells that manipulate, create, or destroy life or life force)
  • Magic - Transmutation (spells that transform a target physically or change its properties in a subtle way)
  • Misc - Mental Fortitude (mental resistance to psionic, magical or substance abuse)
  • Misc - Lockpicking (may be applied to magical and practical methods of infiltration, includes safe-breaking)
  • Misc - Pickpocketing (to include and minor larceny related skills)
  • Misc - Psionics (to include telepathy, empathy, telekinesis, clairvoyency)
  • Misc - Stealth (to include non-magical sneak, disguise, subterfuge)
  • Misc - Crafting (may apply to any permitted practical skill. Includes apothecary, smithing, fletching, alchemy, and non magical healing)


Terms & Conditions:

  • Selection Limitation: You must lock down your bonus points to a specific combative, practical or magic skill upon token spend request; choosing from the official list. If the skillset you want is not listed, you can submit a request to the admin team for consideration.
  • Manually Add: Mysts of Eyr dice will not automatically add dice bonuses to the sum of a roll. Before rolling, a player must note their appropirate dice bonus. If their bonus is tied to a skillset, they must also note the skillset applied.
  • Make It Known: Any and all dice bonuses attached to a character must be advertised on a picks tab of your Second Life profile.
  • Purchase Limit: 1 x Epic Dice Bonus purchase per month
  • Stacking: You are permitted to purchase more than one Epic Dice Bonus with sufficient token spend, though they must be applied to separate skillsets. One or more Epic Dice Bonuses may be used in the same RP scene but must in separate posts (i.e cannot use more than one bonus in an attack/cast/attempt)


How to Use

  • For each purchase you will receive a scripted prim marked 'Epic Dice Bonus' inside your reward folder. The prim is scripted to represent the bonus in the format {Name/Skill/+20}
  • When you intend to apply your bonus to a targeted post or suspect that you may wish to use it, you should rezz the prim within local chat range, indicating your official Epic Dice Bonus is primed and available to be used.
    Player unpacks the Epic Dice Bonus PRIOR to rolling their dice. This allows the opponent to know that the +20 on your next roll. Roll immediately after for score determination.


  • You are able to roll the dice before deciding whether to apply your Epic Dice Bonus or not. This is to increase your chances of success in application. It would, after all, be demotivating to spend tokens on a one time bonus that can only be applied to a blind roll. You must, however, make very clear when you intend to apply it and once applied, cannot be reversed, voided or taken back without Admin approval.
  • When you decide to apply your bonus, you must clarify during or immediately after your post (parenthesis) exactly what blow, spell, chance you are applying it to so that players know to add the dice roll, i.e. (Illusion). Example: “Blanche took a breath, her spell finally primed and with a final deep exhale muttered the final words of the incantation that would potentially spark the first stirrings of resurrection...” {Activate +20 Epic Dice Bonus: Necromancy}
  • The prim should then be clicked. Confirm you wish to 'utilize' the bonus by clicking 'yes' (if select no, remember to take the object back into your inventory for later use) A local chat message will indicate and confirm the Epic Dice Bonus has been applied. (insert example chat)
  • The prim will then expire and self delete, sending email confirmation of IC use to the Eyr admin team for us to log in our token reward records.

All general Mysts of Eyr rules and etiquette guidelines must be followed at all times. Abuse or consistent mis-use of token dice bonuses may result in bonuses being withdrawn.
