Description: There are many possible uses for Holy Water within Eyr; often used in protection spells, the creation of holy weapons, the exorcism of curses, and of course causing severe, direct damage toward Undead and Demons.
Though Holy Water can be sourced from skilled Celestial beings, it remains a rare substance to procure for the simple fact that Celestial’s remain a rare race within the jungle. Rarer still is the luck to find one with knowledge of the Blessing Water gift and willing to produce it at great cost to their well-being. It is said that a few, precious decanters were once recovered from a ship lucky enough to escape the tragic shores of Mystara, a realm that once flourished with Celestial inhabitants, and now and then, a decanter mysteriously surfaces seemingly when most needed.

Terms & Conditions: As a token reward, Holy Water is limited to provision of 8 fluid oz, decanted in a crystalised flask. Examples of use include yet are not limited to:
- Crafting Holy Weapons
- Protection Spells
- Direct Damage (especially to those considered unholy - demons, undead, vampires etc)
- Holy Blessings
- Removal of Curses/Possessions (including wounds caused by Hellfire)
When treated as weapons, Holy water and Hellfire fall upon near exact opposites of the divine spectrum, and thus when one is used to counter the other, generally the two will neutralise and negate the each other’s full impact potential. To maintain plausibility, Holy Water cannot be directly wielded in Eyr by any races or characters that are, in themselves, in affinity with impure/unholy or ‘dark/evil’ divine energies.
Multiple Holy Water decanters can be combined for more powerful intent, though for use in sim-wide events or with far-reaching consequences in mind, ensure to speak to a member of the admin team first!
How to Use
When your character is ready to hand use their Holy Water or hand it over to a crafter/business within Eyr the following action should be taken:
- The object marked 'Holy Water Decanter' found within the reward folder should be rezzed in-world.
- Confirm you wish to 'utilize' the item by clicking 'yes' (if select no, remember to take the object back into your inventory for later use)
- The object will then expire and self delete, sending email confirmation of IC use to the Eyr admin team for us to log in our token reward records.
- The Holy Water is considered 'used' and the desired effect is considered active or the crafter/business is free to icly create your ordered/requested object (so long as meets the terms and conditions of use)
The power of Holy Water lies in its divine energy, a conduit of holy essence that strikes fear and pain into the most corrupt of hearts and minds, whether aligned to a soul or not. Whether its strength is applied through ritual magic, imbued into a weapon or used in a more direct method of offence or defence, Holy Water both repels and assaults akin to the manner in which wolfsbane effects a Lycan. Acid-like burning and often, physical dissolving of both flesh and bone typically incapacitate both demons and undead, rendering them weaker and more likely to flee than recriminate. Furthermore, the presence of Holy Water interferes greatly with unholy psyche, causing distress, lack of focus and in severe cases, uncompromised frenzy.
Though potentially powerful in effect, Holy Water is actually a delicate substance and thus can easily be spoiled. Any kind of impurity directly introduced to it, will render it useless, thus the importance of a crystal decanter which protects the water from taint whilst maintaining the integrity of the divine energies bestowed upon the water via blessing. It is imperative that the decanter is kept clean and free of defects.
